Hi, I'm Suvina!
I’m one of those people who gets curious about almost everything. I love figuring out how things work, noticing tiny details, trying new tools, and occasionally going way too far down a rabbit hole just because something seemed interesting.
I started out in architecture, found digital design along the way, and have been following my curiosity ever since. I went through a phase of being completely obsessed with Figma, and lately I’ve been having the same kind of fun with code and AI.
What I love about design is that it never stays still. The tools change, what we can make changes, and there’s always something new to figure out. It feels like a pretty exciting time to be a designer.

Turns out, I really like making the thing too.
I started coding because I wanted more control over how my designs actually felt. Somewhere between Cursor, React, too many browser tabs, and a lot of trial and error, it became a pretty normal part of how I design.
These days I move back and forth between Figma and code, designing, building, breaking things, and figuring them out as I go.

Outside the pixels
A lot of my inspiration comes from things far away from a screen.
I love wandering through museums and galleries, collecting tiny details, interesting interactions, colors, spaces, and ideas that I’ll probably come back to later.
I also love bringing people together around design. At SVA, I was a Figma Campus Leader, where I hosted talks, workshops, and events for the design community, including conversations around how designers and developers can work better together.
Mostly, I’m just very curious. I like meeting people, seeing what they’re making, exploring New York, and finding new things to get excited about.
